The grand success of Pushpa 2 at the box office has been overshadowed by a tragic incident during its screening at Sandhya Theatre, Hyderabad. A stampede occurred after Allu Arjun attended the event, leading to the death of a woman and critical injuries to her 8-year-old son, Sri Tej.
Reports reveal that Sri Tej is in a critical condition, suffering from severe brain damage. He is currently on a ventilator, and doctors have expressed concerns about his recovery.
Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand, after visiting the boy in the hospital, stated that the brain damage resulted from a lack of oxygen during the stampede. He explained that the recovery process would be prolonged as the brain needs time to regain its ability to process and analyze signals effectively.
Allu Arjun has shared his concern for young Sri Tej’s health following the tragic stampede incident. The actor revealed that while he wishes to visit the boy and his family, he has been advised against it due to ongoing legal proceedings.
Expressing his sentiments, Allu Arjun stated, “I am deeply worried about Sri Tej, who is currently receiving intensive medical care. Although I am unable to meet him and his family at this time, my thoughts and prayers are with them. I am fully committed to supporting their medical and family needs and hope for his speedy recovery. I look forward to meeting them as soon as possible.”
