In Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, a tragic fire at a private hospital on Thursday night claimed the lives of seven individuals, including a three-year-old boy. Authorities have reported concerns that several people might still be trapped inside the hospital’s elevator.
According to an official, Fire and Rescue teams have initiated efforts to extinguish the blaze and bring the situation under control.
He stated that approximately 50 ambulances from nearby areas have been mobilized to transport patients from the affected hospital to the Dindigul government hospital. Rescue operations are ongoing, and more information is expected soon.
