The movie, being a sequel to the blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise, had generated immense excitement, leading to massive crowds gathering at the theater to catch a glimpse of the actor and celebrate the premiere.
Unfortunately, amidst the chaos, a tragic incident occurred. A woman and her young son, struggling to enter the theater due to the overwhelming crowd, were caught in a stampede. In the harrowing ordeal, the mother tragically lost her life on the spot, while her son sustained critical injuries. He was immediately rushed to a hospital for medical treatment.
At the time of the incident, Allu Arjun was inside the theater watching the film and was unaware of the unfolding tragedy. However, upon being informed by his management about the escalating crowd situation, the actor was advised to leave the venue to prevent any further issues. The devastating incident was brought to his attention the following day.
Expressing profound sorrow over the tragedy, Allu Arjun extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. He assured them of his full support and took responsibility for the child’s medical expenses. Additionally, as a gesture of compassion and solidarity, the actor provided financial assistance of ₹25 lakhs to the family.
